Maarit Söderlund - Singer
Music is my passion. It has played huge role in my life ever since I was just a little girl. I have been singing all my life; in different choires and I even had a little role in local Opera year 2002. In the beginning of the millennium I was the singer for Digital Explosion, and we had over 5 milloin listeners worldwide via mp3.com. We were among the 5 most played artist of all time on mp3.com. On the same lists there were also artists like Madonna and Eminem. But the site unfortunately was shut down. "With You" was the most succesfull song on mp3.com and here is a video of the song.
I also concentrated to my family life, and had a little break from creating music. Now I have started again and last year even took part of Finnish Idols, which didn't go so well due to my excitement which grew too much within the 9 hours of waiting before getting in front of the judges. But it was nice experience anyway. :) You'll never know what the future brings, but I will keep on singing, now as an artist called Savino Beat. I like to listen a lot of music myself, different styles, depending on the mood. I'm a big fan of Eurovision song contest and also follow Swedish Melodifestivalen intensively.
